Hibiscus flower. Widely cultivated from temperate to tropical regions of the world, the variety common on Elbow cay is Hibiscus Sinensis, or Chinese rose, or Hawaiian hibiscus. Known for their large, immaculate flowers, these bloom year-round in the subtropical Bahamian sun.
