Guernsey cow. The first cows were introduced around 960 by monks sent to the island by the Duke of Normandy. From a rigorous selection within the French livestock of the time, these cows were then raised through the centuries. Today these cows are recognized for their frugality and the very high quality of their milk.<\/p>\n<\/div>
