Akan drums. They are used in the Ashanti, Fante and Akyim Tribes of Central and Southern Ghana. The different families of drums are named after their dances. Adowa is by far the most widespread and frequently performed social dance of the Akan people of Ghana.<\/p>\n<\/div>
