Dwarf cassowary or Bennett’s cassowary. It’s is a large bird but slightly smaller than other living cassowaries. This flightless bird is between 1 and 1.5 m long and weighs between 18 and 26 kg. It is distributed throughout mountain forests of New Guinea, New Britain, and Yapen Island, at elevations up to 3,300 m.
