FAQ

Yes, we can do it, UPON REQUEST and only after approval! However, out of conviction we do not work on solid gold and high-price coins (in particular coins issued from antiquity to the 18th century).

Yes, but not always. On certain coins, the year of issue is still legible at the end of the cut. So it is sometimes possible to acquire a coin issued on your year of birth, marriage or other. Do not hesitate to contact us!

On order, most KEOS can also be made in form of earrings, pin or bracelet charm. Recently we are also offering every coin with a leather bracelet (leather color of your choice) or on a handmade stainless steel bracelet (tailor made and on order)!

Yes, we can do it, UPON REQUEST and only after approval!

Both are of course possible! However, from experience, we recommend a skin-friendly leather cord rather than a necklace of white metal (even plated). Not applicable if you use a chain in solid silver or gold.

Our KEOS coins are implemented with a black, brown, turquoise, green or red leather cord according to your preference and the colored clasp (end parts + carabiner) matching with the coin (please note that a surcharge of 5.00 EUR applies for all KEOS with a value below 50.00 EUR). Just let us know your neck size in CM and your favorite color!

Our silver coins are fitted with a silver eyelet (.925). On request we can optionally offer you a silver clasp (.925) at a price of 10.00 Euros.

Over time, each coin will lose its luster (it is a normal physical reaction of the metal with the air and the body). A regular cleaning with a gentle brush (e.g., an old toothbrush) under lukewarm tap water and the use of classic hand soap gives good results and helps to maintain the luster.

In case of stronger corrosion, we recommend to use a microfiber cloth and a liquid metal lustre (except for aluminum and silver coins). Aluminum and silver coins can be treated with cleaning agents specific to aluminum or silver and thus retain their luster.

The standard delivery is made by priority mail (registered mail) with padded envelope. The shipping costs for a coin (or up to 500gr) are 7.00 EUR in Austria; 15.00 EUR to the rest of Europe; 20.00 EUR in all other countries of the world. A consignment by courier service (for example, DPD / GLS / DHL) is also possible on request with extra charge.

For orders, bank transfers can be accepted. In the Euro-zone countries, all bank transfers are free of charge if accompanied by the use of an EU-compliant transfer form and the mention of our IBAN and BIC references.
We are also glad to accept the following credit and debit cards without extra fee: MasterCard®, Visa®, V-Pay®, Maestro®, ApplePay®, American Express®, Diners Club® and JCB®. An advance payment is required.

Basically both are not possible (except in case of a justified claim).

Yes, we can according to our needs buy some of your coins at the market price. Do not hesitate to contact us for a free evaluation!

Sawing up legal tender such as coins is not a punishable offense in Austria. However, it should be noted that any change from the original condition makes the coin worthless as a means of payment. (Source: Münze Österreich AG)
