Leopard or panther. This feline has a tawny coat spotted with rosettes. Excellent climber and jumper, the leopard has the distinction of hoisting its prey at the fork of a tree to put them out of reach of other predators. The leopard is the most widely distributed feline. It is still common in sub-Saharan Africa. It weighs on average 60 kg for the male and can reach 60 km/h.
