Black snail. Endemic to the island Mahe, it can be found in Morne Seychellois National Park. Dark in colour with a rounded coiled shell, it’s one of the most popular endemic snails of the archipelago. This land-snail is endangered by habitat loss due to invasive alien species such cinnamon tree and small-scale farming.
