Markhor. This goat lives in the western Himalayas at an altitude of between 800 and 4,000 meters. With an average size of 1.35 to 1.80 m long and weighing 35 to 115 kg, the males display spectacular spiral horns 1.5 meters long. Threatened with extinction a few years ago, it has seen its population grow by around 20% since 2005.
