Gardiner’s frog. It’s a small frog endemic to the Seychelles named after John Stanley Gardiner, English zoologist and oceanographer. It’s one of the smallest frogs in the world, reaching a maximum length of 11 millimeters. It is brown in color, and has a dark stripe running from its mouth to its legs. This terrestrial frog, feeds on small invertebrates like mites and ants. It is restricted to the high- and mid-altitude areas of Mahé and Silhouette Islands of the Seychelles group.
