Wolf of Canada. Gray wolf subspecies with range in western Canada and Alaska. It is also known as the Alberta Wolf. With a color that can vary between black, white, gray or yellowish, it is one of the largest wolves since it can weigh up to 60 kg and measures about 80 cm at the withers. The soles are wide, facilitating the movement of the animal on the snow. Their ears are short to minimize heat loss.
