Gentoo Penguins. The Gentoo can be recognized by the white stripe that runs over the top of their heads, from eye to eye. Very noisy when they hang out together, which is almost always, they are the shyest penguin species, and the fastest underwater swimmers. About 25% of the estimated 600,000 Gentoo Penguins in the world live on the Falkland Islands.
