Clay fortress (tighremt) of Boulmane Dadès. It was erected by Berbers who probably settled there in the 18th century. Located in the southern foothills of the gorge of the Dadès river in the center of the Atlas mountain range, the small town of Boumalne stretches along a large oasis of palm trees.
