Mountain nyala. Antelope endemic to the highlands of Ethiopia east of the Rift Valley. From an average height of 1.20 meters for 200 to 300 kg, it lives mainly in the dense forests of mountain ranges north of the Bale Mountains National Park at an altitude of 2,700 to 4,200 meters above sea level. This species is threatened with extinction.
