Leopard or panther. This feline has a tawny coat spotted with rosettes. Excellent climber and jumper, the leopard has the distinction of hoisting its prey at the fork of a tree to put them out of reach of other predators. The leopard is the most widely distributed feline. It is still common in the Congo Basin rainforest. It weighs on average 60 kg for the male and can reach 60 km/h.
