Irish Hunter. Horse from a cross between an Irish Draught, endemic horse and emblematic of agriculture and Irish traditions, and an English Thoroughbred. Its breeding is now prized for equestrian sports and hunting with hounds. It measures about 1.70 meters at the withers.
