Church of St. Sava. This Orthodox church is located in Belgrade, in the municipality of Vračar. It is dedicated to St. Sava, founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church in 1219. It was built on the site where, according to the tradition, the Ottoman Pasha Koca Sinan Pasha burned the relics of the saint in 1595 in retaliation for the Banat revolt of 1594.
