Lighthouse of “La Corbière”. It is one of the most important landmarks on the Channel Island of Jersey. It is located on a tidal island off the shoreline. It was named after the surrounding rocky and sparsely inhabited coastal landscape “La Corbière”. With it the first concrete lighthouse in the world was built and completed in November 1873.
