On the second weekend of Advent, Kremsmünster Abbey warmly invites you to its Advent Market. We are pleased to welcome back many exhibitors who return every year, as well as some newcomers. They will present a diverse range of handcrafted goods and culinary delights, creating a festive atmosphere in the Prelate’s Courtyard and the Imperial Hall Wing. A special feature is the demonstration of traditional crafts in various workshops, such as woodturning, carving, basket weaving, coin cutting, and glass painting.
The Advent Café, featuring homemade pastries prepared by the women of the Kirchdorf district’s Gold Bonnet Association, located in the Apostles’ Room, and the various food and drink stalls in the Prelate’s Courtyard are among the culinary highlights and invite you to linger. A comprehensive children’s program, Advent concerts, and Advent carol singing round out the program, making the Advent Market a special experience for all ages.
