On the first weekend in August, the Künstler:innenstadt Gmünd invites you to the 35th edition of the large arts and crafts market. Around 100 artisans from all over Central Europe, selected by a jury of experts, will be showcasing selected crafts of the highest quality in the medieval old town (which is car-free on this weekend), transforming the town into a lively stage for art.
The unique atmosphere of this market contributes to the fact that the Gmünd arts and crafts market is one of the most popular specialist markets in Austria – the extraordinary variety of arts and crafts on offer will inspire you! All of the town’s museums, galleries and artists’ studios will be open for you throughout both days.
